Bangladesh will play tri nation series against Pakistan & New Zealand
Good News of the tri-nation series came during the Chittagong Test. Bangladesh, New Zealand and Pakistan are going to play a tri-nation series ahead of this year's T20 World Cup. The series will be held on New Zealand soil in the T20 format in preparation for the World Cup. Pakistan is being heard as the third country besides the host New Zealand, Bangladesh.
BCB Cricket Operations Chairman Jalal Yunus confirmed the matter.
Nothing has been fixed for the day of the series yet. But it is definitely good news for Bangladesh. The main event of the T20 World Cup will start on October 22 in Sydney with the match between the host Australia and New Zealand.
Earlier, the first round match will be held from October 16. From where 4 teams will get a chance in the main stage. Bangladesh does not have to play qualifiers this time. Mahmudullah Riyadh's team will play directly in the main round of the World Cup.
