The seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) has come to an end with Lahore Calenders becoming the champions. The best performers of the tournament, including the participants and the champion team, were also awarded large sums of money. At the end of the tournament, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja said that PSL has made a record income in this year's event.
In an interview with Cricket Pakistan, Ramiz Raja said, "There is no doubt that this year's event was a great success.
Because we have seen great spectators in every match, both in Lahore and Karachi. I have never in my professional life seen such an extraordinary, enthusiastic, thrilling, cricket-loving spectator. Especially in Lahore. This time PSL's profit has increased to 71 percent, which is the highest in history. '
Explaining the details, Ramiz said, "Each franchisee has been given 90 crore Pakistani rupees. No PSL franchise has received so much money before. All the teams were given this money before the first ball of the tournament was rolled on the field. In future we will host matches not only in Lahore and Karachi but also in Multan and Peshawar. Only then will the world see the real magic of PSL. Hopefully we will be able to organize PSL in the home field of each franchise. '
